Our story

Trap House Caribbean & Seafood is a lively restaurant in Austin, Texas.

Created by Chef Dante Foster, THC & Seafood offers a taste of the Caribbean Islands, and focuses on traditional Islands comfort foods paired with bold and exciting new flavors. 

We pride ourselves in offering fresh only local ingredients with a strong dedication to consistent quality recipes, seasonal menus, and a delightful ambiance.

One of our signature dishes on the horizon is the Oxtail Plate, which is a savory cross between our beloved regional barbacoa and traditional roast beef. We highly recommend this dish to newcomers!
We also suggest the Marinade Jerk Jackfruit, a deliciously pleasant vegan option. Try it on a plate or in a taco!
